In the 70's Aurora came to my house with Sandy Hauk and taught me how to make steak in a tomato green chili gravy. The first time I made it, I called and told her mine was so hot, Carol and I were the only ones to eat it and barely. She said what peppers did you use, I said jalapeños she said oh no it is green chili. She was always a precious, loving lady. The green chili sure made a difference the next time I fixed steak an store bought tortillas.
