Obituary of Roland Stevenson

Roland "Steve" Stevenson, 80, of Lovington, NM passed away at his residence on September 25, 2019. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Steve, as he was known by, was born on August 22, 1939 in Abingdon, ILL to Charles and Violet (Roach) Stevenson. He married Sharon Akin in Lubbock, TX on November 19, 1960 and they have shared fifty nine years of life and love together. He owned and operated Steve's Appliance here in Lovington and worked on a lot of everyone's appliances through the years. He will be greatly missed. Steve is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; one son: Ronnie of Lovington and one daughter, Teresa of Post, TX; also three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many friends.
