Robby Lynn Cunningham January 28, 1925 - July 13, 2008 Funeral services for Robby Lynn Cunningham, 83, of Plains, Texas will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Mike Crow, Pastor of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton, Texas. Services are being conducted by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Robby was born on January 28, 1925 in Byers, Texas to Lonnie H. & Lennie (Quarles) Hooper. She passed away on July 13, 2008 at Covenant Lakeside in Lubbock, Texas. She was a farmer, a Baptist and an encourager to all who knew her. She graduated from Whiteface High School & immediately married Orville W. Cunningham on June 4, 1942. She is survived by two sons: Kenneth & Jamie Cunningham of Lovington, NM; Pat & Debbie Cunningham of Decatur, TX; four daughters: Sandra & Murvin Gathright of Corsicana, TX; Janice & Larry Splitter of Garland, TX; Gloria & Bill Graves of Garland, TX; and Melinda Cunningham of Plains, TX. Two sisters: Dorothy McLaren of Lubbock, TX & Wanda McElroy of Levelland, TX; one brother, T.C. & Cletha Hooper of Midland, TX; 15 Grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter, Wanda Carolyn Cunningham; 2 sons, Orville Stanley & Lonnie Stephen Cunningham, 2 sisters: Pauline Martin & Wilma Griffin and 1 brother, Dale H. Hooper & 4 infant grandchildren.
