Obituary of Ariel J. Lujan

Graveside services for Ariel Jesus Lujan, 28, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at Lovington Cemetery. Ariel was born on October 9, 1991 in Hobbs, NM to Jesus Lujan and Brenda Robles and passed away on April 14, 2020 in Lovington. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Ariel was raised in Lovington and attended school here, graduating in 2011. He liked watching movies, playing his X-Box, and playing fooseball. Ariel was a very generous and outgoing man and he expressed his joy and love to all of his family and friends. He could always put a smile on your face. He loved his niece and nephew and they thought he was the best Tio Popo ever. He was a great son, brother, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed. Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Ismael Valdez Sr and Maria Nieves and one cousin: Miereya Olivas Quiroz . Surviving him is his Mother: Brenda Robles and step-father Fernando Andrade of Tatum; his Father: Jesus Lujan of Lovington; one brother: Arath Robles of Lovington and two sisters: Adwina and husband Rhyan Hernandez of Lovington and Karina Lujan of Odessa, TX.; also one niece: Rhyllyn Hernandez and one nephew, Arleigh Hernandez and his grandparents: Francisco and Guadalupe Lujan of Lovington and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16th from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Please remember that only 5 people at one time may enter to visit, otherwise remain in your car until prompted to enter. Thank you.
