Obituary of Bruce Wayne Roberts

Memorial services for Bruce Wayne Roberts, 18, of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel, 1106 N. Main, with David Stewart officiating. Bruce was born on January 8, 2002 in Lubbock, TX to Brian Lee and Christina Marie (Holston) Roberts and passed away on May 19, 2020 in Lovington, NM. Bruce grew up in Morton, TX and for a short time came to Lovington and attended school here before moving to Midland. He enjoyed video games, Anime cartoons and hanging out with his friends. He was an easy going, rather laid back, happy-go-lucky kid. He liked swimming, camping and going 4-wheeling in the sand dunes. Preceding him in death was his mother, Christina Maria and his grandparents: Burley and Carolyn Roberts and Kathleen Holston. Surviving him is his Father: Brian Lee Roberts of Big Spring, TX; his step-father: Robert Mauck and his significant other, Carrie Anderson of Lovington; one sister: Merri-Christine Roberts and spouse, Alfredo Baeza of Tatum, NM; three brothers: Zachary and wife Jessica Stewart of Castlerock, CO, Mathew Mauck of Trinidad, CO, and Riley Mauck of Lovington, NM; one niece: Violet Marie Baeza of Tatum, NM and one nephew: Preston Stewart of Colorado; his girlfriend: Brittany "Alex" Phillips of Midland, TX and numerous extended family.
