Mr. and Mrs. Hanners were both the most influential teachers. Mr. Hanners taught me to like math and Mrs. Hanners was wonderful as Miss Haversham in “Great Expectations “. We also shared stories that we both shared of Type 1 diabetes. She managed a difficult life style with courage and perseverance. God bless you Mrs. Hanners.
