Obituary of Bobbie June Jones

Graveside services for Bobbie "June" Jones, 91, of Lubbock, TX and formerly of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Bobbie was born Bobbie June Wilson in Bartlesville, Ok to Tom and Neva Wilson and on August 29, 1929 she passed into the loving arms of God our Father on October 26, 2020 in Lubbock, TX. On January 22, 1947, she married Herschel L. Jones and from the beginning, it was a match made in Heaven. She and Herschel moved to Hobbs in 1954 and then to Lovington in 1968. June enjoyed life and OU football and music. She was a blessing to all who knew her and she was the best mom one could have. We will miss her sorely but also know and understand that she walks in Heaven. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband Herschel; three sisters: Dorothy, Blanch and Trudy; two brothers: Roy and Gib and granddaughter, Jessie Rind and a great-grandson, Samuel Blevins. She is survived by her children: Gary and Donna Jones, Terry and Ed Blevins, Rhonda and Tony Friese, Allan and Vonda Jones and Tom LaMar and Lesta Sims.
