Obituary of Irma Estrada Granado

Funeral services for Irma Estrada Granado, 58, of Lovington, will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Irma was born on August 28, 1962 in Hobbs, NM to Delfin and Magdalena (Estrada) Granado and passed away on December 31, 2020 in Lubbock, TX. Irma was a people person and loved by all and had a good sense of humor but her passion was loving her family. She was a volunteer at Senior Citizens Center and did tax returns for others, especially for the seniors . She enjoyed baking and was Selmas taste tester! Her faith and church was very important to her and she has attended St. Thomas Catholic Church for many years. She had a little dog named "duchess" that she spoiled and loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents: Delfin and Magdalena. She is survived by her daughters: Michelle Ramirez of Lovington and Krystal Ramirez of Hobbs; one brother: Delfin Granado and wife Christye of Lubbock; one sister: Selma Granado of Lovington; two nieces: Ashley Granado of Austin, TX, and Caitlyn Granado of Lubbock and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm until after Rosary at 6:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. Masks are required.
