Obituary of Susan Gale Escobedo

Graveside services for Susan Escobedo, 70, of Hobbs, NM will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Prairie Heaven Memorial Park Cemetery with Dean Shopshire officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Susan was born on October 6, 1950 in Carlsbad, NM to Ray and Dorothy (Wheeler) Soloday and passed away on January 22, 2021 in El Paso, TX. Susan was totally supportive of all her family and friends and was a very dependable, compassionate person that would do all she could for others. She loved large iced coffee's from McDonalds, and would sneak one every chance she had. She was a carefree, loving woman and will be greatly missed by all her loved her. Preceding her in death were her parents: Ray"Bud" and Dorothy Soloday. Surviving her is two sons: Cary Escobedo of Hobbs, and Corly Escobedo and wife Denise of Hobbs; two daughters: Cheryl Escobedo of Hobbs, and Lana and husband Monico Maes of Roswell, NM; fourteen grandchildren: Manuel, Alissa, Josh, Jazmyn, Jason, Justin, Julian, Audree, McKayla, Delilah, Tay'Shai, Lily and Mya; also seven great-grandchildren: Devani, Delilah P, Sophia, Laiken, Jayden, Brynlei and Brenton. Also a cousin, Barbara of McKinney, TX. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 2:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home in Lovington, 1106 N. Main.
