Obituary of Hortencia Pallares

Funeral services for Hortencia Pallares, 57, of Lovington will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church wit Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Hortencia was born on December 29, 1963 to Pascual and Concepcio (Jaquez) Rubio and passed away on April 15, 2021. Hortencia married Jose Luis Pallares on December 1, 1979 and they had two daughters Erica and Imelda Pallares. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Hortencia loved spending time with family and enjoyed traveling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren Breanna, Ysabel, Eryssa, and Jordan Jurado. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She will be greatly missed. Surviving her are her parents: Pascual and Concepcion Rubio; her husband Jose Luis Pallares; two daughters: Erica and Imelda Pallares; two brothers and two sisters; four grandchildren: Breanna Jurado, Ysabel Jurado, Eryssa Jurado, and Jordan Jurado.
