Obituary of Cameron Jeffery Reeve

Cameron Jeffery Reeve was born on May 26, 1985, and placed in the arms of Karl and Carrie Ann (Mendenhall) Reeve two days later. He was taken to Heaven on May 10, 2021. Cameron was raised in Artesia graduating from Artesia High School in 2004, where he participating in swimming and cross country track. He moved to Tatum with his parents in 2015. Cameron was employed by Monarch Properties. He loved metal craft and was very artistic. Cameron loved to make jewelry, especially items featuring dragonflies and scorpions. He also loved singing special music at church. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Lother Mendenhall, grandparents, Alfred and Bernie Reeve, uncle, Lonnie Ray Mendenhall, aunts, Nellie Reeve, Dee Reeve, and cousin, Christopher Reeve. He is survived by his parents, Karl and Carrie Ann Reeve, grandmother, Virginia Mendenhall, uncle Larry and aunt Gayla (Bess) Mendenhall all of Tatum, NM, aunt Santita (Arevalo) Mendenhall of El Centro, CA. uncles Herbert, Glenn and Roger, aunt Penny Reeve and many cousins. He loved them all greatly and respected them with all his heart. We love you Cameron, and will see you when the Lord decides. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were held on May 18, 2021 at Tatum First United Methodist Church with Beth Anthony officiating.
