Obituary of Chris Marlo Hayes

Funeral services for Chris Marlo Hayes, 63, of Lovington will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel with Gene Wilde III officiating. Chris was born on May 27, 1958 in Kermit, Texas to C.A and Janette (Johnson) Hayes and passed away on July 27, 2021. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Chris grew up in Lovington and went to school here. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Cooking and being with his grandkids. He collected coins and had a great sense of humor. Chris worked in the Oil Field. He attended First Christian Church and loved going to church. He was preceded in death by his parents: C.A and Janette Hayes. Surviving him is one son: Miles Hayes and wife Amanda of Yakima, Washington; two daughters: Amanda Charlene Alonzo of San Antonio, TX. and Cecelia Janette Malinda Lopez and husband Rey of Vancouver, WA; two brothers: Ruston Hayes and wife Donnie of Lovington and Coby Hayes and wife LaJuan of Hobbs; one sister: Terri and husband Brian Thompson of Lovington; special friend Jeanne and husband Justin Alexander of Lovington; and eleven grandchildren.
