Obituary of Anita Marlene Winteregg

Anita "Marlene" Kimmel Winteregg went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2021. The family is feeling the loss but is grateful to know that she is finally free of the struggles and pain of this life. Marlene had a ready smile and a passion for sewing, embroidery and various crafts. She had an open heart to quietly help wherever needed and a compassion for stray and abandoned animals and pets. She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard Kimmel and Betty (Ward) Kimmel. With us still is her husband: Philip Winteregg of Tatum, NM, two sons: Jeremy and wife Chie Winteregg currently stationed in Japan and Jordan Winteregg of Artesia, NM; sister: Leisha Kimmel Wright of Daytona, OH and brothers: Mark Kimmel of Butler, PA and Paul Kimmel of Brookville, OH. A time to visit with the family will be held at Cowboy Junction Church 9924 N. Catchings Rd., Hobbs, NM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4:30 - 7:30 pm.
