Obituary of Guadalupe Valderaz

Funeral services for Guadalupe Valderaz, 80, of Lovington will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm at 3rd & Central Church of Christ with Bro. Joe Valenzuela officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Guadalupe was born on December 19, 1941 in Rosebud, TX. to Librado and Mercedes (Flores) Garza and passed away on February 15, 2022. Guadalupe liked to travel, gardening, cross word puzzles and puzzles and enjoyed garage sales. She enjoyed cooking and eating with all her children, friends and especially with family and friends gathering together. She liked going to concerts with her daughter Dolores and liked being around her family and her grandchildren. She liked to sew and dance, especially with her husband and sons David and Raul. Reading real true crime magazines and watching western movies and Novelas with her husband Tony. She enjoyed spending her time with her daughters Norma and Yvonne when they would go to her Dr.'s appointment and then go eat. Guadalupe was blessed to have friends and family that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Librado and Mercedes Garza; her husband Antonio Valderaz; one daughter: Dolores Borunda; four sons: John Anthony Valderaz, Stephen Valderaz, Raul Leonard Valderaz, and Jonathan Valderaz. She is survived her son: David Valderaz and wife DeRenda of Ft. Worth, two daughters: Norma and husband Rafael Hernandez of Lovington, and Soyla Marquez of Lovington; two brothers: Ramon Garza and Librado Garza Jr. both of TX.; three sisters: Janie Deleon of TX., Eva Diaz of TX., and Anita Viduarre of Lovington; fifteen grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren.
