Obituary of Juanita Bugarini Barrientos

Funeral services for Juanita Bugarini Barrientos, 96, formally of Lovington will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Juanita was born on May 16, 1925 in Las Liebres, Zacatecas, Mexico to Longino and Julia (Perez) Bugarini and passed away on April 2, 2022. She was very independent and enjoyed caring for her plants and pretty flowers. She had a really green thumb! Music was a joy to her life, especially Mariachis. She was dedicated to her family and a devout Catholic. Her church was an important commitment in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents: Longino and Julia Bugarini; her husband Ruben Barrrientos; one grandson: Raul Miranda; four brothers and one sister; She is survived by two sons: Fermin Miranda and wife Carmen of Hobbs and Steve Miranda and wife Cookie of North Carolina; two daughters: Candelaria and husband Steve Luscombe of Midland and Grace Gonzales of Lovington; fifteen grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
