Obituary of Mary Ruth Peacock

Our Momma, Mary R. Peacock, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. She was 79 years young. We already miss her. She was a wife to our dad, Lloyd T. Peacock for 58 years. They had 4 children, Bobby, Eric, Nancy, and Jana. Mary was the Grandmother to 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; Alisa Peacock, Bryce Peacock, Riley Nelson, and Ryan Boland, who she referred to as her "geniuses," whereas, Kambrynn Boland was "Grandmother's Angel." Mary is survived by her sisters, Ernestine Cauble and husband James of Katy, Texas and Pauline Faubion of Albuquerque New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd and son Bobby. Also, parents, Ernest Loyd Jackson and Lillian Jackson, brothers Jerry Jackson and Alton Jackson, and twin sister, Marie Dorsett. Grandmother worked from her home by cooking, sewing, gardening, crafting, decorating, and teaching her grandchildren these skills. She enjoyed reading autobiography and cookbooks and attending Bible study with her friends. One of her favorites weekly activities was "Girlfriend Night" with her friends Tiffany, Sharon, and Debbie. Visitation for Mary will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022. Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home, with burial to follow at the Lovington Cemetery.
