RICHARD!!! Something we heard often when he was in the office. Ornery guy was always-ALWAYS up to no good. Whether it was him just "innocently" standing there waiting to startle you or putting creatures throughout the office to scare the day lights out of you, he never missed a chance to make you laugh. But with his ornery side came his supportive side. Even though he was notorious for being the scream king, he also never missed a chance to tell us how much we were valued and appreciated. Besides the random RICHARD!! being echoed through out the office he always made a point to ask "how many steps do you have" or "remember, if it taste good spit it out." He will be so missed! Thank you Dianna for incorporating him into our work lives! He definitely made the hard days breathable.

Richard, a man of all seasons
Richard was such a beacon of light.
He lit up the room everywhere he went with his winning smile.
He was a walking encyclopedia of the plants and animals that inhabit New Mexico.
I would ask Richard the most random questions on New Mexico and he would patiently answer.
He taught me about the oil basins in New Mexico and all other natural resources and the coolest animals in New Mexico.
He will be sorely missed for his wisdom, kindness and helpful spirit.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Richard will forever be remembered by the 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Richard was caring, funny and always helping anyone that needed help. He was very proud of his wife Dianna Luce. He would come to the office and always kept people on their toes. You could always hear laughter somewhere in the office when Richard was around. We will truly miss Richard. My condolences to Mrs. Dianna Luce and all her family.
"Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful, their days enriched with friendship, and their lives encircled by your love." In Jesus' Name, Amen

I first met Richard when he was with the USDA and came before the County Commission for funding. He was outgoing and funny and I liked him immediately. He and I would sit and visit when we ran into each other. He always had great stories and a quick wit. Richard will be missed by all who had the honor to meet him.

Richard was only in elementary school when I graduated from high school, but we rode a very dusty, bumpy school bus together. After Richard, came sisters Robin and Rena, and they were well represented by a protective and watchful big brother.
May your families be comforted by God’s embrace of Love and Grace, remembering the good days you had together, and expecting the BEST to come into eternity.
