Obituary of Kathyrn Regina Pitts

On February 26, 2023; Kathyrn R. Pitts, passed away at her home in Tatum. Kathyrn was born June 3, 1925 in Genoa Illinois to Walter David Danielson and Edna Christine (Daniels) Danielson. She was raised in Elsmore Kansas and was a graduate of Bronson High school class of 1943 in Bronson Kansas. After high school she worked as a telephone operator in Kansas City, Kansas. On April 22, 1945 she married Forrest Dale Pitts. Dale and Kathyrn enjoyed traveling and both earned their single engine pilots license. While raising a family of six, Kathyrn sold Avon, was a member of PTA and volunteered as Girl Scout Leader. Kathyrn was preceded in death by her husband, one son: Alan Neal Pitts; her parents; one sister: Doris Ann Johnson and two brothers: Walter Dale Danielson and Dewey Curtis Danielson. Survivors include Cheryl Lair (Jerry), James Pitts (Saeng), Glenda Armstrong, Patty Meek, and Regina Watson; Grandchildren: John and Andrew Lair, Nancy Reddick, Jamie Graves, Judy Brown, Jim Armstrong, Kayla Janko, Tonya Glisan, Kimberly Meek, Heather Meek, Kristi Allen, and Dana Watson; Seventeen great grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren.
