Funeral services for Adelaida Gonzalez, 62, of Lovington will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church with father Samuel Ameh officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Adelaida was born on August 11, 1960 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Domingo Sr. and Dolores (Moreno) Pando and passed away on March 5, 2023. Adelaida like to crochet, cook and bake. She loved spending time with her family especially her grand-children. She was preceded in death by her father Domingo Pando Sr. and two sisters: Mary Lou Cardona and Andrea Madrid. She is survived by her mother: Dolores Pando; two daughters: Naomi and husband Cesar Coronel and Isabel Pando; three brothers: Jody Garza, James Pando and wife Rosa and Domingo Pando Jr. and wife Taylor; six grandchildren: Samuel Coronel, Armando Coronel, Rocio Coronel, Carlos Coronel, Noah Alexander Lyons, and Savannah Grace Lyons. Visitation will be he on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7;00 pm at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
