Obituary of Ruben Navarrette

Funeral services for Ruben Navarrette, 65, of Monument NM will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 am at 3rd & Central Church of Christ with David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Ruben was born on March 1, 1958, in Artesia, NM to Jesus and Manuela Navarrette and passed away on March 28, 2023 at his residence. Ruben liked to go fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Ruben loved his family his dog Riley and especially his grandchildren and he will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jesus and Manuela Navarrette; his wife: Ophelia; and one brother: Johnny Navarrette. Surviving him is one son: Mark Navarrette; two daughters: Denise and husband Victor Martinez and Bernise Navarrette and significant other, Shiloh Colvin ; three brothers and two sisters, and eleven grandchildren.
