Obituary of Perry Kenneth Carlton

Perry Kenneth Carlton, 86, of Lovington, passed away July 2, 2023. Perry was born September 13, 1936 to Minnie Ola Ralston and William Brown Carlton. He was a lifelong resident of Lovington. Perry married Katherine Jane Pyeatt, his sweet "Janie" on May 29, 1953. They had two beautiful daughters; Dyana Kem Miller and Sheryl Ann Reagan. He was the best daddy and most loving husband. Perry spent most of his life trucking and hauling pipe, in which his trucking handle was "Pack Rat". He could fix anything with wheels. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, flying his airplanes and tinkering with old cars and trucks. His most fulfilling hobby was wheeling and dealing. Perry is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Jane Carlton of the home; daughters Kem Miller of Eunice, NM, and Ann Reagan of Springtown, TX., grandchildren Kristi Barker, George Miller, Kenneth Reagan and Sara Stelcz. Perry was a great PaPaw to Acacia, Markus, Sheyanne, Drake, Elaine, Lauren and Daniel.
