Obituary of Carla Jean Duncan

Carla Jean Duncan, 71, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, formerly of Lovington, New Mexico, passed away on April 24, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1952, in Littlefield, Texas, to Hubert and Emma Crouch. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, with Randy Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery, under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home. Carla found joy in attending church every Sunday, playing games, and having popcorn and movie days. She cherished spending time with her family and was known for her warm greetings as the greeter at the Nursing Home. Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Emma Crouch, her husband, Terry Duncan, her brother, Travis Crouch, brother-in-law, Woody Duncan, and sister-in-law, Deborah Duncan. She is survived by her son, Chris Duncan, and wife Tricia, her daughter, Jamie Duncan, her brother, Buddy Crouch, and wife Bette, her granddaughter, Madalynn Duncan, and her grandson, Lantz Duncan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lakeview Christian Home in Carlsbad, where Carla was dearly loved and called home.
