Obituary of Claudie Sue Fort Walker

Claudie Sue Fort Walker October 04, 1924 - December 02, 2014 Graveside services for Claudie Sue Walker, 90, of Las Cruces, NM and formerly of Lovington, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery with Bro. Danny Kirkpatrick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Walker was born on October 24, 1924 to Claudie & Lorena Fort in New Mexico.She passed away on December 2, 2014 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. On July 25, 1946 she married William Neill Walker. Together they had two sons, Ty and Gary and one daughter, Jill. Claudie Sue Walker was preceded in death by her parents, Claudie & Lorena Fort. She is survived by her husband, William Neill Walker. Two sons: Ty Walker of Roswell, NM, and Gary Walker of Lubbock, TX. One daughter: Jill Harlow of La Luz, NM. One sister: Betty Rae Graham Webber of Midland, TX. Five grandchildren: Trey Harlow, Ryan Harlow, Deven Andrus, Brent Walker, and Lindsey Walker. Four great grandchildren: Corinne, Paul, and Bradley Harlow and Harper Wilkes. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Claudie Sue Walker to the Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter, 9500 Montgomery NE, Suite 121, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
