Obituary of James Lawrence Fults

James Lawrence Fults July 15, 1962 - October 03, 2009 James “Jimmy” Lawrence Fults, 47, of Lovington, NM passed away at his residence with Star Hospice in attendance on October 3, 2009. He was born on July 21, 1962 in Roswell, NM to James L. Fults and Dorothy Hardin Fults. He married Belinda Vick Fults in Lovington, NM on December 15, 2006. Jimmy lived many years of his life in Saline, Michigan, attending school and graduating there. He then spent twenty years in Aurora, Colorado. He served in the US Army, was an active member of a motorcycle chapter in Denver, and enjoyed hunting, his motorcycle and watching football and sports. He moved to Lovington six years ago and worked as a field mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Fults. He is survived by his wife, Belinda Fults of the home; his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Michael Furphy of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Jai Renae Fults of California and Raychel Ann Fults of Maryland; one sister, Lana Lee and husband Johnny “J.R.” Hughes of Lovington, NM and three stepchildren and three step-grandchildren. Jimmy will be cremated with a private family burial at a later date.
