Bernabe Garcia September 07, 1968 - June 20, 2008 Funeral services for Bernabe Garcia, 39, of Lovington will be 10:00 am Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Bro. Armando Jimenez officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Mr. Garcia was born on September 7, 1968 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He passed away on June 20, 2008 in Andrews, Texas. He married Rebecca Portillo Garcia on May 7, 1990 in Seminole, Texas. Mr. Garcia was employed by Industrial Maintenance & Construction, Inc. He was mostly raised in Lovington, enjoyed singing, horses, roosters, joking around and loved his family. He is survived by his mother, Hermenejilda Garcia of Hobbs, NM; his wife, Rebecca Garcia of Hobbs, NM; four daughters, Vanessa, Kassandra and Esmeralda Garcia of Hobbs, NM and Kenya Garcia of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; four sisters, Eulalia Vasquez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, Arcilia Payen of Lovington, NM, Alicia Chavez and husband Jesus of El Paso, TX and Jacinta Tovar and husband Arturo of Hobbs, NM; six brothers, Guillermo Garcia and wife Belia of Lovington, NM, Candelario Garcia and wife Andrea of Hobbs, NM, Juan Garcia and wife Paula of Odessa, TX, Salvador Garcia and wife Thelma of Hobbs, NM and Lucas Garcia of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; one grandchild, Zerek Chavez of Hobbs, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Garcia.
