Obituary of Guillermo B. Garcia

Guillermo B. Garcia March 17, 1974 - March 26, 2010 Funeral Mass for Guillermo B. Garcia Jr., 36, of Hobbs, will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Manuel Ibarra officiating. Rosary will be on Monday, March 29th at 7:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Garcia was born on March 17, 1974 in Winterhaven, Florida to Guillermo and Belia (Bustamante) Garcia and passed away on March 26, 2010 in Chavez County. Guillermo grew up in Ojinaga before moving to Lovington as a teenager. He attended school in Lovington. He has worked in the oil field since he was 17 and was employed by Lariat Well Service at the time of his death. Guillermo married Liz Rubio in Hobbs, NM on February 5, 2000. He enjoyed camping with his family and loved horses. He was preceded in death by his brother, Juan Manuel Garcia. Surviving him are his wife, Liz, of the home, two sons: Juan Manuel Garcia and Guillermo Uriel Garcia and one daughter, Elida Itzel Garcia, all of the home. His parents, Guillermo and Belia Garcia of Lovington, two sisters: Vielka Martinez and Mayla Garcia both of Lovington, NM; a niece and nephew, Jazlynn and Abel Martinez Jr. and many other family members and friends.
