Emeterio Godinez March 03, 1962 - July 03, 2009 Funeral services for Emeterio “Tello” Godinez, 47, of Lovington, NM will be held in Mexico at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Godinez passed away on July 3, 2009 in Lovington. He was born on March 3, 1962 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Balente & Maria Godinez. He was married to Gloria Palomino Godinez on August 11, 1985 in Mexico. Mr. Godinez was a dairyman and was employed by Boyd Dairy for the past 13 years. He was a family man, enjoyed spending time with his children and enjoyed soccer. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Manuel Godinez. He is survived by his wife, Gloria of the home; 1 son, Cesar Godinez and 2 daughters, Christian and Nancy Godinez all of Lovington. Four brothers, Miguel & wife Ernestina Godinez of Lovington, Victor & wife Carmela Godinez of Mexico, Thomas Godinez and Jose & wife Rosa Godinez of San Jose, Calif., 4 sisters, Bertha & husband Santiago, Paula & husband Fernando and Cruz Godinez all of Mexico and Maria Isabel & husband Antonio of San Jose, Calif.
