Obituary of Bill Dale Hazelwood

Bill Dale Hazelwood July 29, 1933 - December 19, 2007 Graveside services will be held for Billy “Bill” D. Hazelwood on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobbs, NM. James Kirby will officiate. Mr. Hazelwood passed away in Ft. Worth, TX on December 19, 2007. He was born on July 29, 1933 in Ralls, Texas to William & Mable Green Hazelwood. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell Wanda Cherry, his parents, and 1 brother, Wayne Hazelwood. He is survived by his wife Wilma Hoskins Hazelwood of the home; 1 son, Ronnie & wife Cindy Hazelwood of Kermit, TX; 1 daughter, Wanda & husband Travis Gunn of Lovington, NM; 1 step-son, Daniel Hardin of Albuquerque, NM; 1 stepdaughter, Louise & husband Arturo Lopez of Palestine, TX; 1 sister, Brenda Hollar of Hobbs, NM; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and 6 step-grandchildren. Mr. Hazelwood was a long time resident of Lovington before moving to Hobbs. He worked in the oilfield & later was the owner of the Total Quick Shop in Hobbs. He was in the process of moving to Palestine at the time of his death.
