Gay Delight Buske July 11, 1930 - April 19, 2017 Graveside services for Gay Delight Buske, 86, of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm at New Hope Cemetery in Jones County half way between Anson and Stamford, TX. on Hwy. 277 with Rev. Mike Crow officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of Kirby-Smith-Rogers funeral Home. Gay was born of July 11, 1930 in Crosbyton, Texas to William Basel and Opal Pearl (Moon) Monsey and passed away on April 19, 2017 at her residence. She married Eugene “Slim” Buske on January 17, 1949 in Stamford, Texas and moved to Lovington. She liked working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Eugene “Slim” Buske; her son: Richard Eugene Buske; two brothers; Leslie Monsey and Basel Monsey Jr.; one sister: Billie Monsey; one grandson: Ryan Buske and one great-grandson: Hunter Noack. Surviving her is her daughter: Marie and husband Jackie Washburn of Lovington, NM; one daughter-in-law Susan Buske of Hobbs, NM; grandchildren: Shane Noack of Hobbs, NM, Shae Crow of Devine, TX, Heather Wells of Waco, TX, and Jenna Vaughn of Odessa, TX. and also several nieces and nephews.
