Obituary of Robin Ainslie Hughes

Robin Ainslie Hughes July 07, 1958 - March 26, 2016 Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for Robin Hughes, 57, of Lovington, NM with a memorial service of remembrance at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Robin was born on July 7, 1958 in Brunswick, Georgia to Robert and Lorraine (Ayers) Thomas and passed away in Lubbock, TX on March 26, 2016. She had lived in Lovington for thirty two years. She loved any kind of puzzles, board games and shopping. She enjoyed watching movies and collecting them. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed helping people, as she was a giver. Robin especially loved her kids and grandkids and her companion, Larry Solberg. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Van Hughes and two brothers: Ricky Thomas and Bobby Thomas. Robin is survived by her son: Dusty Manning of Lovington, NM; her daughter: Cindy and husband Joe Lozoya of Lovington and her companion, Larry Solberg of Lovington; three grandsons: Angel Talavera, Jesus Talavera Lozoya and Joshua Talavera Lozoya and two granddaughters: Ainslie Manning and Alesha Manning.
