Obituary of Ricky Lee Lehman

Ricky Lee Lehman May 25, 1967 - January 30, 2010 Memorial services for Ricky Lee Lehman, 42, of Lovington, NM will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Jackson Ave Baptist Church with Bro. Dave Rowser officiating. Services are being conducted by Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Lehman was born on May 25, 1967 in Phoenix, AZ to Larry Lehman and Sherryl (McCullough) Lehman Smith and passed away on January 30, 2010 at Maljamar, NM. He grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 1985. He married Kimberly Tucker in California on August 16, 1987. Ricky was a oilfield pumper and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He liked spending time with his family and friends and was very involved and active with his children’s lives. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Thomas Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly of the home, five daughters: Lynn and fiancée Aurelio Gomez Sr., Sabrina, Catrina and Christyn Lehman all of Lovington and Kattie Lehman of Hobbs, NM. His Mother and stepfather, Sherryl and Ronald Smith of Lovington, his Father, Larry Lehman of Lakeside, CA and his stepmother, Phillys Lehman of Santee, CA; five brothers: Ron and wife Nancy Smith of Santee, CA; Donnie Smith of Lakeside, CA; Jimmy and wife Janette Smith of Lovington, NM; Dale and wife Norma Smith of Yuma, AZ and Larry M. Lehman of San Diego, CA; one sister, Linda Larsen of San Diego, CA; one grandchild: Aurelio Gomez Jr. of Lovington, NM and two step-grandchildren: Dusty and Jaime of Lovington.
