Obituary of Carl Ray Lovelace

Carl Ray Lovelace March 09, 1953 - March 19, 2016 Private graveside memorial services for Carl Ray Lovelace, 63, of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lovington Cemetery with Danny Watson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Lovelace was born on March 9, 1953 in Midland, Texas to Carl T. and Mary (Trisdale) Lovelace and passed away in Midland, TX on March 19, 2016. Carl grew up mostly in Lovington and graduated from Lovington High School. He worked in the oilfield and most recently has been employed by SDR Enterprises as a truck driver. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting and liked his dogs and cats. Most especially he loved being with his grandkids and family. Carl and Debbie Salsman were married in 2002 in Lovington. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gwen. Surviving him are his wife, Debbie of the home; one son: Travis and wife Becky Lovelace of Colorado; three step-sons: Mitchell and wife Brittany White of South Carolina; Michael and wife Leslie White of Colorado and Corey and wife Stacy Curtis of Colorado One daughter: Shawnetta and husband Eddie Stock of Lovington; one brother: Larry and wife Diane Lovelace of Lovington and fourteen grandchildren.
