Obituary of Michael Wayne Madron

Michael Wayne Madron December 04, 1955 - December 25, 2017 Funeral services for Michael Wayne Madron, 62, of Hobbs, NM will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home in Lovington with Pastor Larry Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobbs, NM at 12:00 noon. Mr. Madron was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on December 4, 1955 to Edward W. and Perlene (Kirkendall) Madron and passed away on December 25, 2017 at his residence. Michael had lived in Hobbs, since his was about one year of age and loved Hobbs, NM. He graduated from Hobbs High School and joined the US Navy at age seventeen, serving aboard the USS Midway, aircraft carrier. He was employed for several years by Bo Monk Pipe Testing and also for Cobra and Tyler Well Services. Michael was a hard working man and had a very tender heart for children and he truly loved babies. He was considered a “tinker-er” and could fix just about anything mechanical but had the distinction, told by his family, of always being late. He liked to read and loved old western movies and books and enjoyed anything about history. His favorite hobby was fishing and hunting. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Edward and Donald Madron. Surviving him is his daughter and son-in-law: Desiree and Joe Hillmann of New Orleans, LA; two brothers: Bobby and wife Debra Madron of Hobbs, NM and David Madron of Hobbs, NM; and two grandsons: Colton and Bo Bell of New Orleans, LA; also nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts and many friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
