Obituary of Myrna Helen McCall

Myrna Helen McCall November 02, 1920 - July 29, 2009 Funeral services for Myrna Helen McCall, 88, will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nazarene Church with Pastor Jaron Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Kirby-Smith- Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. McCall was born in Lovington, New Mexico to Errett Baynes & Gladys (Mason) Parsons on November 2, 1920 and passed away on July 29, 2009 at Nor Lea General Hospital. Myrna raised her family in Lovington and worked as a beautician at the Lovington Beauty Shop for many years. She was an active Charter member of the Nazarene Church in Lovington and a long time member of the Open Range Cowboys Association. She was very family oriented and had a wonderful memory when calling the names of all her 44 grandchildren. At 80 yrs. of age she became extremely proficient on the computer and loved e-mailing her family and even had set up Facebook for herself. She is survived by two sons: Albert & wife Susan McCall of San Antonio, TX ; Kevin & wife Gloria Swindle of Lovington, NM, two daughters: Becky & husband Leslie Barr of Lovington, NM & Suzette Eubank of Carlsbad, NM, one brother: Donald & wife Jean Parsons of Ruidoso, NM, three sisters: Mary Mautone of Lubbock, TX, Paula Pearsall of Victoria, TX, and Virginia Smith of Dallas, TX, 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Thurman McCall, one son, John Wayne McCall and one sister, Frances Mitchell. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the charity of your choice.
