Obituary of Caroline Stella Miller

Caroline Stella Miller June 23, 1939 - May 17, 2014 Caroline Stella Miller, 74, of Lovington, NM passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at her home after a long illness. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. She was born on June 23, 1939 in Simi Valley, California to Robert Cecil and Carrie Sofia (Everson) Lindsay. She spent most of her life in California and for the last fifteen years she has made her home in Lovington. Caroline enjoyed ceramics, painting, crocheting, gardening and flowers. She was a great cook and loved cooking but her favorite thing to do was hang out with her family. She loved New Mexico and considered it home. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband, Don Miller of the home; two sons: Robert and wife Terri Hoovan of Port Padlock, Washington and Eddie and wife Jamie Hoovan of Cedar City, Utah; four daughters: Carrie Schneider of Lovington, Jackie and husband Wayne Cromwell of Lovington; Carolyn and husband Doug Taylor of Kanab, Utah; Marilyn and husband Michael Janousek of Hobbs; three sisters: Mary Williams of Klammath Falls, Ore; Virginia Powers of Pismo Beach, California and Pauline and husband Jim Simonson of Klammath Falls, Oregon; also 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
