Edward Moreno April 21, 1938 - January 23, 2007 Services for Edward Moreno, 68, of Lovington, have been scheduled Friday, January 26, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel. Officiating is Cruz Caudillo, pastor. Burial will be at Lovington Cemetery. Visitation was to continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Born April 21, 1938, at Houston, Texas, he passed away January 23, 2007, at Lubbock, Texas. He moved to Hobbs six years ago from San Diego, California, and then to Lovington three years ago. He was active at Samaria Pentecostes Church in Hobbs. Survivors include a son, Robert Eugene Moreno; four sisters, Rachel and her husband, Clemente Barnett of Lovington; Anita and her husband, David Swanson of Sweeney, Texas; Olivia Clemence of Dallas, Texas; and Lorena Mackey of Mojave, California. He was preceded in death by her parents, Roque and Guadalupe Moreno; a sister, Bartola Turri; and two brothers, Albino Moreno and Roque Moreno.
