Obituary of Cynda Rae Cawley

Cynda Rae Cawley February 22, 1985 - January 03, 2014 Memorial services for Cynda Rae Cawley, 28, of Hutchinson, Kansas and formerly of Hobbs, NM, will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Rev. Danny Wright of Living Waters Church officiating. Cynda was born on February 22, 1985 in Hobbs, NM to Ray and Tammy Harris Cawley and passed away on January 3, 2014 in Hutchinson, KS. She graduated from Hobbs High School in 2003 and had a degree in childhood development. She had previously been a teacher’s aide at Morgan Elementary School in Kansas. She was very artistic, which was evident in her love of tattoos, and the tattoo business where she worked. Not only was Cynda talented but she was compassionate and had become an organ donor saving five lives with her generosity. Cynda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Opal Brown and her great-grandparents. She is survived by her husband: Rion Pina and her children: Zakary Austin Hunter, Emily Hope Hunter, Cruz L’Ray Cawley and Eliszeo Maximillion Cylus Piña; her mother and stepfather: Tammy and Randy Collis of Midland, TX; her father: Ray Cawley of Albuquerque, NM; one sister: Kay-Lynn Cawley of Hutchinson, KS; niece: Joanna Cook and nephews: Dylen and Keagin Moshier; her grandparents: James and Frances Hillard of Lovington, NM and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a loving mother and a talented person. Cremation has taken place and the family has requested that memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 5911 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109-3432.
