Clyde Eugene Pruett November 15, 1939 - August 12, 2017 Graveside memorial services for Clyde Eugene Pruett, 77, of Hobbs, NM will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor John Ayers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Pruett was born on November 15, 1939 in Fairfield, CA to Lloyd Eugene and Cora Clyde (Ainsworth) Pruett and passed away on August 12, 2017 in Hobbs. He lived in Vail, Oregon when he was young then moved to Hobbs with his family in 1949. He served in the US Army before returning to New Mexico to make his home. Clyde was employed for many years at the Belaire Bowling Alley. He was an amazing bowler and really enjoyed the game. He was an independent type who was pretty much a loner. He enjoyed having a large garden and would share the fruits of his labor with his mother, his nephew, Chris and with others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Cora Pruett. Surviving him is one brother: Dale and wife Mary Ruth Pruett of Jal, NM and one sister: Bonnie and husband Jackie Griffin of Hobbs, NM and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
