Watch the Tribute Mireya Ibett Quiroz January 21, 1991 - June 19, 2014 Funeral services for Mireya Olivas Quiroz, 23, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Manuel Ibarra officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mireya was born on January 21, 1991 in Seminole Texas to Horacio Alire Olivas and Janie Marie Robles and passed away in Hobbs, NM on June 19, 2014. She had lived in Lovington all of her life and graduated from Lovington High School where she was a cheerleader. She was teased about the fact that she “hot glued” everything. She was family oriented and enjoyed being with her family and her children. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents: Nieves and Ismael Valdez and her Paternal Grandfather: Chano Olivas. Mireya is survived by her husband, Chad Anthony Quiroz Sr. of Lovington; one son: Chad Anthony Quiroz Jr. of Lovington and one daughter; Madelyn Lilly Quiroz of Lovington; her mother: Janie Robles and companion, Robert Mims Jr. of Lovington; her father Horacio Olivas of Chihuahua, Mexico and two brothers: Horacio Olivas Jr of Nebraska and Cody Ruiz of Lovington; three sisters: Monica Avis and husband Samuel Hurtado of Hobbs, NM ; Mayra Janet and husband Jaime Perales of Lovington and Briana Ruiz of Lovington. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 10:00 am until Rosary time. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
