Obituary of Jamie Brian Rasmussen

Jamie Brian Rasmussen December 19, 1983 - May 29, 2014 Funeral services for Jamie Brian Rasmussen, 30, of Midland, TX, formerly of Lovington, will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Lovington Cemetery. Jamie was born on December 19, 1983 in Stamford, TX to Pete and Eddie (Sudweeks) Rasmussen and passed away in Midland, TX on May 29, 2014. He grew up in Lovington and graduated from Lovington High school. He enjoyed video games and playing ball and loved playing with his boys. Music was a huge part of Jamie’s life and he enjoyed all types of music. He was a faithful Raiders fan and Cubs fan even when they didn’t play well. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and most especially, loved his family. Jamie was a jokester and he could keep his family laughing until they would be crying. He will be missed very much by his family and his friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Ruel and Zella Rasmussen and maternal grandparents: Lavon and Joyce Sudweeks. He is survived by his parents, Pete Rasmussen of Lovington and Eddie Rasmussen of Lovington; two sons: Skyler and Kayden Rasmussen of Fritch, Texas; one brother: Josh Cronin of Lovington and two sisters: Mariah and husband Paul Gonzales of Lovington and Chantil Martinez of Chandler, Arizona.
