Obituary of Lillian Ollie Robertson

Lillian Ollie Robertson January 11, 1915 - January 17, 2008 Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 21, 2008 at 3rd & Central Church of Christ for Lillian Ollie Robertson, 93, who passed away at Lovington Good Samaritan Center on January 17, 2008. She was born January 11, 1915 to parents, Warren S. & Ada Black in Alysworth, Oklahoma. She was married to Alfred "Slim" Roberts on December 25, 1932. He passed away December 5, 1952. She later married Oliver Jack Robertson in 1959 and he died in 1992. She and Jack were house parents at Tipton Children's Home in Tipton, OK. and at West Texas Children's Home in Pyote, Texas where they retired. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and a member at 3rd & Central Church of Christ in Lovington since 1992, where she taught Bible classes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren & Ada Black; both of her husbands, 2 sisters, 1 brother and 2 grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Alfred Roberts and wife Betty of Lovington, NM; her daughter, Marlene Rhoads and husband Bill of Tucson, AZ; 2 step-sons, Jackie Robertson & wife Ginny of Midland, Texas and Bobby Robertson & wife Ruby of Seymour, Texas; 11 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren.
