Obituary of Carlos Alfonso Rosales

Carlos Alfonso Rosales June 28, 1971 - March 21, 2016 Memorial services for Carlos Alfonso Rosales, 44, of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Bro. Mike McGuire officiating. Mr. Rosales was born on June 28, 1971 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Rafael and Elsa (Mendoza) Rosales and passed away on March 21, 2016 in Lubbock, TX. Carlos was employed by Watson Construction as a pipeline excavator. He was passionate about sports, especially the Ravens football team and the soccer team Cruz Azul of Mexico. He liked traveling to Ruidoso and Bottomless Lakes and camping with his family. He like watching sports and flying kites at the park with his kids and granddaughter. He loved the remote control toys; the cars, planes, and boats and spent a lot of time at the park so all the family could enjoy his hobby also. He had a good sense of humor and liked to tease the family and enjoyed his dog, “Vanilla.” . His greatest joy was his granddaughter, Presley, and he loved spoiling her. He would take her to McDonalds and to the store and they would have a good time. Carlos was preceded in death by one brother: Carlos and one sister: Guillermina. He is survived by one son: Carlos and wife Sierra Rosales of Lovington; one daughter: Karla Rosales of Lovington; his parents: Rafael and wife Elsa of Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico; two brothers: Rafael and wife Maria Rosales of Aldama; Gerado and wife Marta Rosales of Aldama; one sister: Elsa and husband Oscar Molina of Maryland and one granddaughter: Presley Rosales.
