Most of my memories are from family get togethers... I remember one time we were camping at the river and the next morning we were all waking up and getting around and Jessica was sitting on papa's lap and the sun was coming up but could not see it due to the ridge on the other side of the river and papa told Jessica that the sun was just on top of that ridge and Jessica became adamant about going across the river and climbing up the other side to greet the morning sun... I remember just walking and papa would sneak up and grab your calf and bark like a dog to scare you and he would get a kick out of it... Some of my greatest times with Papa were when I first moved back out to Texas.. Papa and I going fishing every weekend... I enjoyed just sitting by the water with him even when the fish did not bite... Just being there with him made my day every time we went out... I love that man and I pray that I made him proud of me... Because I have always tried to incorporate all the of the life's lessons he taught me and from watching him and Grandma over my life...
