Obituary of Gladys Velma Bentley

Gladys Velma Bentley January 19, 1912 - September 09, 2012 Graveside services for Gladys Velma Bentley, 100, will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, NM at 10:00 am with Reverend Paul Hollandsworth officiating. Services are under the arrangement of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Bentley was born to James Albert and Mary Homer (Bell) Johnston on January 19, 1912 in Mangum, OK and passed away in Lovington on Sunday, September 9, 2012. She married William Henry Bentley on October 15, 1927 in Mangum, OK. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter, Romana Leamon. She is survived by two sons, W. C. “Bill” and wife Dottie Bentley of Lovington and Charles and Ann Bentley of Roswell, NM; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
