Obituary of Lidia Sanchez

Lidia Sanchez August 03, 1957 - July 29, 2015 Funeral services for Lidia Sanchez, 57, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 9:00 am at the Church of God Templo Magdiel with Pastor Gilbert Arreola officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Mrs. Sanchez was born on August 3, 1957 in Juarez, Mexico to Staff Sergeant Leonard Wood and Catalina (Michel) Snow and passed away on July 29, 2015 in Lovington. She married Carlos Sanchez on March 21, 1973 in El Paso, TX and they shared forty two years together. They traveled a lot doing music ministry as they both loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing their God given talent. She loved playing the guitar and singing and she enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to sing and pray. Lidia was a great cook and enjoyed doing crafts, cruising with Carlos and drinking her coffee. She had a good sense of humor and would have that big smile on her face and would dance a little jig. She was preceded in death by her father. Surviving her are her husband, Carlos, of the home; two sons: Miguel and wife Viviana Sanchez of Lovington and Jeremiah Sanchez of Lovington; three daughters: Carmen and husband Robert Barker of Port St. Lucie , Florida; Lily and husband Edward Carrasco of Lovington and Elizabeth and husband Ben De Los Santos of Lovington; Her Mother: Catalina Snow of El Paso, TX ; three brothers: Alvin Snow, James and wife Hilda Snow and Raul and wife Evelyn Snow all of Houston, TX; and three sisters: Judy Balbuena of El Paso, TX, Elvia Delgado of Houston, TX and Betty Snow of El Paso, TX and eleven grandchildren.
