Socorro Aceves Sepulveda March 02, 1954 - April 19, 2015 Funeral services for Socorro Aceves Sepulveda, 61, of Morielano, La Cruz, Chihuahua, Mexico will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 3:00 pm with Father Redenton Molina officiating. Burial will follow at the Lovington Cemetery. Socorro was born in Morielano, La Cruz, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jesus Jose Aceves and Epigmenia Sepulveda on March 2, 1954 and passed away on April 19, 2015 in Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Socorro loved horses and his favorite horse’s name was Lagartijo. He enjoyed to go to horse races, like to be around family and his friends. He liked musica de Corridos. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Carmen Aceves; two brothers: Refugio and Macario Aceves. He is survived by his wife Maria Estela Aceves of Morielano, La Cruz, Chihuahua, Mexico; four sons: Noel and wife Rita of Denver Colorado, Socorro and wife Lisa Aceves of Lovington, NM, Ricardo and wife Veronica Aceves of Lovington, NM and Dimas and wife Alma Aceves of Denver, Colorado; two daughters: Estela Aceves and husband Jesus Salcido of Lovington, NM, and Yadira Aceves of La Cruz Chihuahua; one brother: Heriberto Aceves of Chihuahua, Mexico; one sister Juana Aceves of Morielano, Chihuahua and fourteen grandchildren.
