I only met Cotton very briefly on a couple of occasions, but he is alive in my mind from all the stories my stepfather Travis Spears would tell of him. Travis would tells stories, and laugh and laugh as he told of this or that antic of his brother. Or he would speak with deep respect as he told of his brother's work ethic and climbing the ladder at the potash company. Probably a week would not go by when Cotton's name wasn't mentioned in some way in our house. I think his brother's love for him said it all. Cotton will be missed
