I worked in the District Court when George was sheriff & they lived in the Court House. One time we asked him to speak at our Legal Secretaries meeting so he took us in his patrol car to the meeting & when we got back to the Court House, he got out of the car and started to walk away, leaving 2 of us in the back & we couldn't get out. He came back & laughed as He opened the back door & let us out. He was always fun and pleasant when you saw him. Blessings on his family at this time. I am so glad that I knew George.
