Obituary of Linda Gayle Watson

Linda Gayle Watson May 14, 1954 - June 02, 2015 Graveside memorial services for Linda Gayle (Cockrell) Watson, 61, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at Lovington Cemetery with Bro. Ray Poskey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Linda was born in Andrews, TX on May 14, 1954 to Aubrey and Lorene (Langlitz) Cockrell and passed away on June 2, 2015 in Hobbs, NM. She spent most of her life in Lovington. Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and cooking, she especially enjoyed making Christmas candy. She had a great sense of humor and loved being with her family and kids and grandkids, they were her joy in life. Linda was preceded in death by her Father; two brothers: Robert Cockrell and Edward Earl Davies; and two sisters: Edna Sims and Priscilla Whitten. She is survived by her mother, Lorene Cockrell of Lovington; one son: Aubrey Grimes of Lovington and one daughter: Olivia Grimes of Utah; three brothers: Lewis Cockrell of Lovington, Jack and wife Rita Sims of Bonnedale, Arkansas, and Eddy and wife Karen Cockrell of Michigan; and one sister: Audrey Loretta Cockrell of Hobbs, NM.
