Obituary of Howard Franklin Willyard

Howard Franklin Willyard September 13, 1963 - September 15, 2015 Memorial Celebration of Life services for Howard Franklin Willyard, 52, of Lovington, NM will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 10:30 am at New Beginnings Church with Pastor David Villar officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Howard was born on September 13, 1963 in Artesia, NM to Jackie Eugene and Josephine E. (McClish) Willyard and passed away at his residence on September 15, 2015. He moved to Lovington fifty years ago and had a good childhood, enjoyed all kinds of sports, graduated at LHS and later worked on a drilling rig and then as a pumper in the oilfield. He enjoyed swimming, woodworking, fishing, hunting and camping; and especially liked playing football with his son. Howard was a great people person, loved making them laugh and could be a real character. He was a strong Christian and believer and really enjoyed Christian music, especially Jeremy Camps songs. He married Kristina Dunn in Lovington on October 18, 2008. He was preceded in death by his Mother, and one brother, Roger Willyard, whom he loved very much. He is survived by his wife, Kristina of the home, his Father, Jack Willyard of Lovington; two sons: Joeseph Nolan Willyard of the home and Michael Cress of Oklahoma; two daughters: Annmarie Elizabeth Willyard of the home and Theresia Ann Collins and husband Dustin of Burns Flatt, OK; nine grandchildren: Autumn, Bryson, Allen, Carolann, Chenoa, Anaiah, Dusti, Toby and Zane and a host of friends
